Department of Pathology and Blood Bank

Dr. Simarpreet Kaur completed her MBBS and MD in Pathology from SMS Medical College, Jaipur. She worked as a senior resident at Mohan Dai Oswal Hospital, Ludhiana where she gained further experience in histopathology and immunohistochemistry.

She has also worked as a Blood Bank In charge of Kidney Hospital, Jalandhar. Further, she joined PIMS, Jalandhar as an assistant professor in Pathology. Thereafter, she worked as Lab Head at SRL Diagnostics, Jalandhar for 7 Years.

She has been trained in the quality management system and internal audit as per ISO 15189: 2012. She has also done an observership in the frozen section from Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital, Delhi.
