Dr. Monika Agrawal completed her medical graduation from JLN medical college Ajmer, Rajasthan and Masters in Medical microbiology from the same institute. A devoted professional with excellence in lab work and with demonstrated ability to teach, motivate and direct students while maintaining high interest and achievement levels. She is qualified professional to work in NABL and NABH accredited labs and hospitals.

After completing her post graduation she had worked as assistant professor and senior lecturer in Medical and dental colleges. She was working as Head of microbiology department at Oncquest Laboratory Limited, New Delhi for last 7 years. She was responsible for all the Serology, ELISA, Bacteriology, Mycology, Mycobacteriology, molecular and other culture related professional work received as various samples collected from all Oncquest - affiliated hospitals in Delhi. She is an academic oriented competent and highly organised individual committed to professional development and acquisition of continual knowledge.

She had been worked as an infection control officer in many NABH hospitals like Saket City Hospital, Apollo cradle and Spectra, Jeewan Mala Hospital and Nova ortho and spinal surgery Hospital, New Delhi. In all these hospitals, she was managing the hospital policies and procedures about hospital infection control and responsible for all the ground work in consonance with the administrative and paramedical staff. She has managed NABH audits successfully in all these hospitals.

She has published many articles in international and national journals of repute. She has presented CMEs on recent advances in diagnosis of tuberculosis and antibiotic stewardship in various institutes like BHU Varanasi, CMC Ludhiana, Saket city hospital New Delhi, Base hospital New Delhi etc. She has attended various states, national and international conferences. She is certified NABL internal auditor as per ISO 15189 and certified professional for Hospital infection control (Basic).

Currently, she is heading Microbiology Diagnostic Services and Hospital Infection Control Department in Patel hospital. She is instrumental in implementation of various hospital infection control policies and procedures.
