Dr. Pooja Kiran completed her MBBS from the dignified B.L.D.E College, Bijapur, Karnataka.

She worked as Medical Officer at Fortis Hospital, Bangalore. Succeeding she did her M.S. in Obstetrics & Gyneacology from privileged K.L.E University, Belagavi, Karnataka.

She then worked as Senior Resident in R.R.M.C. Bangalore and S.V.P Government Medical College, Ahmedabad. Following this she was Ex – Assistant Professor at L.G. Government Medical College, Ahmedabad.

She was appointed as a consultant in Obs & Gynae department at S.G.L Charitable Hospital, Jalandhar.

She specialized in USG & Advanced Laparoscopic course from Ahmedabad followed by KIEL Germany.

She specialized in advanced Laparoscopic Management of hysterectomy, ovarian cysts Ectopic Pregnancy, Infertility, Myomectomy, hysteroscopy surgery uterine polyp, Asherman syndrome and uterine septum.

She has done research on the prediction of vaginal birth after cesarean section using a scoring system and got published in JSAFOG JOURNALS.

She was participated as sub–investigator in the WHO Clinical trial – Double-blind, randomized comparison of the effect of carbetocin and oxytocin. Another publication was proposed by her in the IJRCOG JOURNALS - optimal management of diabetic pregnancies & its current practice.

She is associated with many prestigious organizations including the Indian Medical Association, The Federation of Obstetric and Gyneacological Societies of India.
