Department of Surgical Oncology

Dr. Sachin Khanna was born and raised in Jalandhar. He did his MBBS from GMC Amritsar, and MS from Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot. Then he went to do his training in MCh Surgical Oncology from Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute, a unit of Tata Memorial Centre. There he was trained in managing all kinds of solid tumors except for the brain and spine.

His training included the management of Head and Neck Cancers, Lung Cancers, Gastrointestinal Cancers, Gynaecological Cancers, Urological Cancers, Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcomas, Skin Cancers and most importantly Breast Cancers. He has been trained in breast oncoplastic procedures.

Dr. Khanna has joined Patel Hospital Jalandhar with a vision to help all patients with cancer and help them live a better and healthier life.
