Dr Tanveer Singh, completed his MBBS from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College and and MS General Surgery from VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital (University of Delhi). He further superspecialised in Gastrointestinal Surgery and Liver transplantation from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, where he got the opportunity to work with, and learn from some of the greatest teachers of this field namely Dr Samiran Nundy Dr Adarsh Chaudhary and Dr Arvinder Soin. He further did a short fellowship in Liver Transplantation. Thereafter, he worked at Medanta – The Medicity Hospital Gurgaon, for a period of five years, as a Consultant in the Division of GI Surgery, GI Oncology, Minimal Access and Bariatric Surgery, headed by Dr Adarsh Chaudhary.
He has various publications in prominent journals and has presented papers and won awards at National as well as International conferences including travel fellowships from International Liver Transplant Society. He is the member of the first Pancreas India and the PANCREASIA clubs. He has been invited as speaker and faculty at many conferences.
He has a vast experience in treating simple as well as complex gastrointestinal disorders. His chief interests include pancreatic and liver surgery and laparoscopic and open surgery for various gastrointestinal cancers and benign disorders.
