Dr Ravi Vandhana completed her graduation from Indira Gandhi Medical College Shimla and then went to the UK in 2004 to acquire higher surgical skills. She completed her Postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the UK. During this period, she worked in different busy District General and University teaching hospitals in both England and Scotland. After completion of her postgraduate training, she worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in the UK.
She is a member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG, UK) and achieved MRCOG degree in 2011. She is also obtained training in Colposcopy and is an accredited member of British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP, UK).
During her training in the UK, Dr Ravi Vandhana obtained advanced training in Benign abdominal surgery (Open and Laparoscopic); Acute Gynaecology and Early pregnancy management; Early pregnancy and Gynaecological ultrasound scanning; Advanced Labour Ward Practice and Colposcopy. She has remained active in managing Gynaecological cancers involving multidisciplinary approach.
Dr Ravi Vandhana is a Gynaecologist with special interest in minimal access surgery (Laparoscopic approach), Colposcopy, Multidisciplinary management of all kinds of Gynaecological cancers, Gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound scanning.
Dr Ravi Vandhana has remained active in teaching the medical students and higher surgical trainees in the UK and has been educational supervisor for the trainees in this speciality. She has participated in various audits. She has attended and presented in numerous international conferences and have won prizes.
