Dr. Nishant completed his MBBS and MD in Transfusion Medicine from the prestigious Govt. Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh. He further completed his Senior Residency from PGIMER and GMCH, Chandigarh where he got an opportunity to work with and learn from leading experts in this field. He also works as head of the department with one of India’s leading chains of Hospitals, Care groups at Hyderabad.

He has various publications in prominent international journals and also presented scientific papers at various conferences. He is a member of Indian Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) and the Indian Society of Transfusion Medicine (ISTM)

He has vast experience in blood collection, processing and TTI testing to provide safe and quality blood components to different categories of patients. He is also experienced in Red Cell and Platelet Serology, Apheresis procedures like Plateletpheresis, Therapeutic Plasma Exchange, Stem Cell Harvesting, Column Immunoadsorption and Therapeutic Cytapheresis.
