Dr. Manish Sharma has done his MBBS and MS in general surgery from Manipal University. After completing his senior residency at Manipal University he served as an assistant professor in the department of general and laparoscopic surgery at Sikkim Manipal University at Gangtok, Sikkim for a period of 3 years. He has also worked as an attending consultant in the department of GI and General Surgery at SPS Hospitals, Ludhiana. He also served as an independent consultant in the department of surgery at Shivam Hospital, Hoshiarpur for a period of 5 years. He was also associated with the Vivekanand Medical Institute, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh as a consultant in the department of general and laparoscopic surgery.

He routinely does all general surgeries, hernia, and breast surgeries. He is also doing laparoscopic procedures like laparoscopic cholecystectomy, Appendectomy, and all types of hernia repairs. He has an overall experience of more than 12 years in general and laparoscopic surgery. He is a life member of the society of endoscopic and laparoscopic surgeons of India and the Indian Hernia Society. He carries with him an experience of more than 5000 independent successful general and laparoscopic surgical procedures.
