The Department of Orthopedics at Patel hospital is headed
by Dr. R.R.Saggar. The department includes the accident care unit in casualty
department, Physiotherapy department, Orthopedics department fully equipped to
do all kinds of fracture surgery, spine surgery, knee and hip joint replacement
surgery, all kinds of bone cancer surgery including limb salvage surgery. We are
offering out-door services to the patients on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
(9A.M. to 2 P.M.). We are operating three times a week i.e. Monday, Wednesday
and Friday. However we are available for emergency services especially trauma
care 24 hours a day.

TRAUMA SURGERY
|
We are fully equipped to do all kinds of fracture surgery.
We use image-intensifier guided small incisions synthetic bone substitutes for
faster healing of the bone fractures. We use imported implants only for are
fracture treatment so that patient runs a minimal risk of any implant related
complications. We are available for any kind of emergency treatment of fracture
after an accident 24 hours a day. To do fracture surgery including closed
nailing of the long bone fractures i.e. of thigh bone and leg bone especially,
Plating of bones near joints as well.
