Laboratory is divided into various sections like biochemistry, hematology and coagulation, histopathology and microbiology. Laboratory is equipped with fully automated biochemistry machine.

(Dimension Xpand), hormone analyser (Immulite 1000), Viral assays (Vitros Eci) approved by Drug controller of India for the use in blood bank, automated coagulation and hematology analyser, electrolyte and ABG analyser. Microbiology Section performs all the tests using standard techniques and is also equipped with fully automated blood and tuberculosis culture machine (Bact Alert 120).

In keeping with the demand, Patel Hospital also has fully functional round the clock blood transfusion services (Blood bank) providing blood and its components like whole blood, packed RBC's, fresh frozen plasma, platelet concentrate and single donor platelets (SDP) prepared by state of the art equipments.

Finally, the lab is run by fully qualified Pathologists and a Microbiologist with a team of well trained technical staff.
